Billing

Billing is done on a 1-month, pay in advance system.  Except for your very first payment, which is due upon completion of your first cleaning, all bill payments are due on the 1st of each month.  On the day of your very first cleaning, the fees for that day and for the remaining scheduled cleanings (if any) for the month will be due.   On this day, you will receive a receipt for the payment made.

After your first bill, each subsequent monthly bill will be sent to you by the 20th day of each month.  So if you receive your first cleaning on or after the 20th day of the month, in a few days ahead, you will soon receive your bill for the next month’s service that will not be due until the 1st of the next month.

Confused yet?  Let’s check out two scenarios that makes this clearer. 

1. Ok, let’s say you signed up for our weekly service, and you receive your first clean-up on February 10.  On that day, the fees for that day and the remaining service fees for the month will be due.  You will receive your March bill sometime around February 20, but your payment will not be due until March 1st.
2. If you receive your first clean up on February 22, again, the fees for that day and for the remaining services for that month will be due.  However, since our normal bill send-out day has passed you will also receive your March bill on that day (or in the coming days) which will not be due until March 1st.

Reminder: to avoid a late fee of $10 and/or cancellation of your service, your bill payment must be received by Doo Duty by the 1st of the month that the bill is due; we charge $30 for any returned check, draft, or credit/debit card; if we don’t receive your payment by the 3rd of the month, we will terminate your services.
